I wonder how many needles that Chinese website will sell over the next week. I know I have an order coming and it includes some funky crochet hooks too.
I ordered a set too, I ordered the wooden ones about 7 years ago and found they were nice for a while but I eventually broke a lot of cords mid project they just wear out but for 7$ you can't really complain, I did have to smooth some of the wooden ones with fine sandpaper but over all they were good for a small project. So I am excited to see what the metal ones will be like. You guys are too funny and informative too. I just started listening about a month ago and have really been enjoying your podcast...I really like the music you play it reminds me of a children's program from when I was young "The Friendly Giant", there was a cat and a giraffe too and they played recorders and flutes I think. I am off to youtube to see if I can find it!
I too jumped on the needle bandwagon- bought the stainless steel set and the wooden set. (could never find small enough wood needles for magic loop socks) Also, I purchased a drinking cup similar to the one you described at TJ Maxx.
Thanks for the needle info-ordered 5 sets-all for less than $40-- with postage-found 24" and 48" stainless needles listed on site.
Would love to hear about other needles and hooks sold there-almost purchased the latch hooks for knitting repair but couldn't tell the size.
Just wanted to leave a message and tell you I enjoy you podcast so very much. As I walk in the mornings, I listen. Your voice is so...pleasant and the information is practical. Thank you and keep up the good work.
I laughed so hard slippers? for a human? reply. It's a good thing I was in a room by myself because trying to explain that to my family would have been difficult. It was truly one of those "you have to have been there" moments.
Paula has a lovely podcast with the most soothing voice I have ever heard in my life.... She would be a fabulous nurse. lol in another life or something :)
