Baby Boots by Frankie Brown |
I did a picot bind off to resemble fringe on a moccasin.
These were time consuming, as many booties are. There is a
seam along the bottom of the foot so they are best for smaller babies.
Intriguing design. Pattern is written as if it is still a
mystery knit. Fabric is on the bias. You either have to twist yarns and carry
up the side or have a lot of ends to weave in.

Another sweet episode and thanks for the shop shout out. Yes, my blog is dormant, but will be back on line next month. Podcast soon is the plan. We too loved The Theory of Everything. Every year my husband and I do movie theater marathons where we binge watch as many of the nominated films as possible in the weekends leading up to the Oscars. It makes Oscar night special for us - and you should see the glamorous PJs I don! LOL Of course it was a whole lot cheaper before 9 films became the rule. This movie was one of our favorites and yes, he did win best actor, so well deserved. I believe you would both enjoy The Imitation Game - also math friendly (a bonus for you-know-who) Fall weather - Bring it! Let the sweater knitting begin I say.
